The Job
Diagnose, repair, document
RepairAnyRV is an RV-only shop in Princeton, TX. We service customer rigs and we prep the units BuyAnyRV sells from the same lot. The work is mostly towables: travel trailers, 5th wheels, and park models, with some house systems on motorized coaches.
Water is the recurring theme. Roofs, seals, slide toppers, and the soft floors that follow when nobody caught it. You would be diagnosing, repairing, and documenting, and talking to customers when the service writer is not in the bay.
What You'll Do
- Inspect incoming units and write findings a customer can read.
- Roof and sealant work: reseal, patch, membrane, and full roof jobs.
- 12V and 120V electrical: converters, batteries, shore power, and the shorts you have to hunt for.
- Plumbing and fresh water: pumps, water heaters, winterizing, leak tracing.
- Propane appliances: furnaces, fridges, stoves, water heaters, leak tests.
- Slide-outs and leveling: motors, gear packs, adjustments, hydraulic and electric jacks.
- Carpentry and fabrication: floors, walls, cabinetry, bunk mods, custom storage.
- Pre-sale inspections and prep on BuyAnyRV inventory.
- Photograph every job. Before, during, after.
What We Expect
- Diagnose first. We do not throw parts at a problem to see what sticks.
- Document everything. Photos on every job, notes on every ticket.
- Fix it right or say why it cannot be. No shortcuts a customer finds next season.
- Respect the customer's budget. Tell them what is needed now and what can wait.
- Keep the bay clean and the tools where they live.
- Ask when you do not know. Nobody here knows every appliance ever built.
